HP Releases 13.3″ dv3500t Pavilion Notebook

HP Releases 13.3

HP just released the new dv3500t Pavilion, finally adding 13.3” notebook to their current consumer lineup. This notebook has a starting configuration price of $999, offering base features of an Intel T5800 2.0GHz processor, a WXGA display, 2GB of memory, an NVIDIA 9300M graphics card with 512MB of video RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. For an added $725 you can upgrade the system to 8GB of DDR2 or for an additional $100 equip the notebook with an LED backlit display. One really nice upgrade that HP offers for this notebook for only $25 is a backlit keyboard option, which I really hope they offer on larger models.

Included features

  • HP Pavilion dv3500t Entertainment Notebook PC
  • HP PhotoSmart Essentials
  • HP MediaSmart
  • Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN (RJ-45 connector)
  • 1 Expansion Port 3 connector
  • 1 ExpressCard/34 Slot
  • HP Webcam with Integrated digital Microphone
  • 3 USB (3rd shared with eSATA port)
  • Consumer IR (Remote Receiver)
  • HP Mini Remote Control 3.0 (34mm Express Card Version)
  • HDMI 1.3 connector
  • 5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader
  • Built-in Altec Lansing stereo speakers
  • Touch Pad with On/Off button and dedicated vertical Scroll Up/Down pad
  • Kensington(R) MicroSaver lock slot
  • Power-on password
  • 101 key compatible
  • 65W AC adapter
  • 1-year limited H/W warranty
  • 90-day S/W warranty

While the features aren’t that impressive given the hefty price tag, we should see some deals on this notebook in the coming months as we move closer to the holiday buying season.

More information and pricing details are available on the HP website.
