Alienware “Allpowerful” Notebook Revealed Early

PCWorld has released information on Alienware’s yet-to-be-announced “All Powerful” notebook, which is a new version of the company’s current 17-inch M17x gaming notebook. The new m17x has the following specifications according to the article:

• Dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 280M 1GB graphics cards
  • Nvidia GeForce 9400M integrated GPU (switchable)
• Up to 8GB DDR3-1333 RAM
• Dual hard drive bays with RAID 0/1 capability
• Intel Core 2 Extreme quad-core processor
• 17-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display
• 9-cell battery
• Dimensions: 15.98″ x 12.65″ x 2.11″
• Weight: 11.68 pounds

The base model starts at $1,799 with a single GTX 280M, 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive. The M17x comes standard with keyboard, touchpad, and trim lighting.
