New HP Coupons, 20% Off dv6t and dv7t Quad Notebooks

HP has issued some new laptop coupons for the month of March, there’s a 20% off offer on the dv6t Quad and dv7t Quad plus a $100 off coupon on the ENVY 4t.  Here are the details:

• Get $100 offthe purchase of anHP Envy 4t laptopusing coupon codeNB13175at checkout.  Offer limited to 1,000 coupons redeemed and one per customer address.  Does not stack with other offers such as HP Academy.

The ENVY dv6t and dv7t Quad Editions are the two most popular HP laptops.  They’re powerful desktop replacement style notebooks that are well built and powerful.  The 20% off coupon means that the more you spend the more you save of course, so anyone who wanted a high end configuration with the Full HD screen (highly recommended) and Nvidia 650M graphics can save more with a % off coupon than simply dollars off.  That said, the focus is always on bottom line price so let’s see where the price starts on each of these popular machines with the coupon:

The ENVY dv6t-7300 with an Intel Core i7-3630QM, 15.6” 1366 x 768 screen, Intel HD 4000 graphics, 750GB HD and 8GB RAM is $639.99 after the coupon is applied:

Meanwhile, the larger sized dv7t-7300 Quad Edition with the same configuration as above except a larger 17.3” 1600 x 900 screen is $718.99:

Not bad deals at all, but for most people you’ll want to upgrade the graphics and screen resolution.  The processor isn’t quite so important to upgrade, the Intel Core i7-3630QM is already powerful enough for most people’s needs.  These coupons expire on 3/17/2013.
